Fundraising Campaign 2:

In April 2020 Provide Now launched its second campaign. In 3 weeks we raised $8,835 across 4 areas:

Healthcare - We raised $1,580 which allowed us to donate:

1,700 surgical masks
120 N95 masks with ventilation
1,000 pairs of small nitrile gloves
1,000 pairs of medium nitrile gloves
1,000 pairs of large nitrile gloves
1,000 pairs of X-large nitrile gloves
120 N95 masks
4 no-touch thermometers
2 regular thermometers + 2 packs of sanitizing wipes
90 1-gallon containers of germicide bleach & 18 32-oz spray bottles
10 canisters of disinfectant wipes
8 bottles of antibacterial soap

Homelessness - We raised $1,185 which allowed us to donate:

10 tents
10 weatherproof tarps
10 all weather sleeping bags
10 wool blankets
136 rolls of toilet paper
25 rolls of paper towels
200 travel-size facial tissues
44 pairs of socks

Hunger - We raised $1,650 which allowed us to donate: 

24 boxes of cereal
12 cartons of milk & 10 cartons of milk alternatives
12 jugs of apple juice
12 loaves of bread
12 jars of peanut butter & 6 jars of almond butter
12 jars of jam
Fruit: 12 bunches of bananas, 12 2-lb bags of oranges, 12 2-lb bags of apples, 36 avocados
12 bags of rice
12 boxes of wheat pasta
12 boxes of gluten free pasta
12 jars of marinara sauce
12 boxes of mixed nuts
12 cases of sausage
12 packages of sandwich meat
12 containers of butter
Vegetables: 12 stalks of celery, 12 bags of carrots, 12 heads of broccoli, 12 containers of spinach, 12 bags of lettuce
24 cans of diced tomatoes
12 cans of tomato soup
200 to-go containers
24 reusable grocery bags
500 paper grocery bags
Dental care supplies (12 toothbrushes, 12 tubes of toothpaste, 12 cords of floss)
Personal hygiene (12 bottles of body wash, 12 sticks of deodorant)
12 bags of cat food & 12 bags of dog food

Education - We raised $2,855 which allowed us to donate:

Fundraising Campaign 1:

On March 21st, Provide Now officially launched its first campaign. In 24 hours, we raised $1,565 dollars, which meant that we were able to purchase:

  • 6,000 pairs of exam gloves
  • 1,000 surgical masks
  • 520 1-oz spray bottles of hand sanitizers

We were able to get these supplies into the hands of UW healthcare workers, and volunteers at COVID-19 Mutual Aid Fund, Seattle Housing Authority, New Horizons, and Hepatitis Education Project.
